Chestnut Canoe Restoration
The canoe when it arrived
This is a Chestnut canoe built in 1960, it was originally purchased in Sault St. Marie, Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It is 15 foot canoe, I believe it is a Bob's Special Model.
New ribs installed
Bending new ribs over the outside of the hull
Stem and inwales repaired, new decks
Seats re-built and re-caned
Interior of canoe varnished
